A new art space is taking shape in SOPHIE 7 - the former Sophienspital in Vienna’s 7th district. MEZEKƎRƎ deliberately anchors its artistic and curatorial reference points in the Global Majority and its diaspora, creating a translocal space with international connections—charting new paths conceptually, thematically, aesthetically, and in terms of socio-political engagement. The space will launch in May 2026.
